Middle School Weekend

Middle School Weekend 2010
This year Middle School Weekend is super sized. We’re adding an extra day and exactly 98% more fun. It’s going to be a great weekend with lots of big games, fun stuff, and Bible study just for middle schoolers. This year your student will have their first opportunity to get to know their new Deeper Group leaders, Sunday School teachers, and other leaders. Here’s everything you need to know.
The Theme
This year’s theme is Guys Vs. Girls. It’s the ultimate battle of the sexes to find who’s bravest, smartest, and strongest. We’ll learn about God’s plan for guys and girls, get to know our leaders, and have a great time finding out who’s best.
Where and When
September 10-12 at the Clingman’s River House. We’ll meet at the church at 6:30 Friday night, and return to the church Sunday at 10:00. Students will be free to go after the 11:00 service.
New 6th Grade Parents
We’re excited to not only have a new group of 6th graders, but also a new group of youth parents. This event will be your child’s first experience with our middle school group so we’re working hard to make this a very special weekend. Here’s some details just for you.
- Medical Forms: Please fill out and return the BMBC medical form along with a copy of your child’s health insurance card. This form allows us to treat your child in a medical emergency, gives permission to ride in church vehicles and is necessary for your child to be able to attend any off campus events.
- 6th Grade Parent Meeting: We’ll have a meeting for new 6th grade parents August 29 after the second service in the youth room (Room 200). Lunch will be provided for you and your student.
- Questions: Feel free to contact Jimmy if you have any questions.
